  • Alt.FFF 2026 will showcase a wide range of sustainable, innovative and culturally inspired fashion materials from Africa and beyond. Visitors can expect to discover heritage textiles, natural fibres, handcrafted fabrics, plant-based materials, ethical dyeing techniques, textile innovations, trims, surface design developments and new material technologies shaping the future of fashion and manufacturing.

     The fair will also highlight African craftsmanship, indigenous textile knowledge, sustainable production methods and creative collaborations between artisans, designers, manufacturers, researchers and material innovators.

  • The Alternative Fashion Fabric Fair (Alt.FFF) 2026 will take place from 17th–19th September 2026 at The Palm Convention Centre, La Palm Royal Beach Hotel, Accra, Ghana.

     The three-day trade fair will bring together exhibitors, buyers, investors, manufacturers, designers, creatives, researchers and industry leaders from across Africa and the global fashion and textile industry.

  • The Alternative Fashion Fabric Fair (Alt.FFF) was founded by Makeba Boateng, founder of Fashion Forum Africa.

    The initiative was created to spotlight African textile innovation, sustainability, creativity and manufacturing while creating new opportunities for collaboration, trade and investment within the fashion industry.

  • Exhibitor applications for Alt.FFF 2026 are open to textile producers, fashion brands, artisans, manufacturers, suppliers, innovators, educational institutions and businesses working within the fashion and creatives industries.

    Interested exhibitors can register through the official Alt.FFF and Fashion Forum Africa platforms. Early applications are encouraged due to limited exhibition spaces and growing international interest.
